Donald Trump Wants Other Candidates to Drop Out So He Has ‘More Time’ To Talk About the Issues

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump said Tuesday at a press conference for his new book “Crippled America” that “there are too many people” in the GOP presidential field and that want “more time to talk about the problems of the United States.”

“If a person’s been campaigning for four or five months and their at zero, or one, or two percent, they should get out,” Trump said at the New York presser.

Trump said candidates staying in the race with low polling numbers is “bad for their brand” and praised Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for leaving the race “quickly.”
