The NSSF Is calling for all outdoor sportsmen to put pressure onto Senator Bill Nelson to stop blicking the progress on the much debated Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act in the U.S. Senate.
Earlier this week, NSSF, along with 37 national sportsmen’s and conservation groups representing millions of hunters, anglers, and target shooters, sent a letter to Senator Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) urging him to stop blocking progress on portions of the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act in the U.S. Senate.
The Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act, along with the House version, the SHARE Act, is the most important piece of legislation to sportsmen in a generation. The SHARE Act passed the House two weeks ago with overwhelming bipartisan support. There is also overwhelming bipartisan support in the Senate for the bill, but Senator Nelson is preventing the Senate from being allowed to vote on the bill.
All sportsmen-conservationists, including hunters, anglers and target shooters should call Senator Nelson at 202-224-5274 and urge him to lift his hold, and allow the Bipartisan Sportsmen’s Act to get a vote in the U.S. Senate.
GCMA is also urging our fellow hunters and shooting sportsmen to do the same.
