Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had a campaign rally in Florida cut short Saturday after a surprise torrential rainstorm.
According to The Hill, Clinton only spoke for eight minutes for the downpour began. When the rain began to intensify from a light drizzle to a downpour, Clinton began to speak very loudly and enthusiastically, energizing the crowd.
Clinton said, before leaving the stage:
Now my friends, you are a hardy bunch, standing out here in the rain. I don’t think I need to tell you all of the wrong things about Donald Trump. But here is what I want you to remember.
I want to be the president for everybody — everybody who agrees with me, people who don’t agree with me, people who will vote for me, people who don’t vote for me!
So lets get out, lets vote for the future, lets vote for what we want for our country and our children and our grandchildren. God bless you!
Prior to ending her speech early and leaving the stage, Clinton, full of energy, smiled while extending her arms into the air, embracing the storm.
